Our move to Oromocto, New-Brunswick is getting closer and closer, thought I'd give you a quick update so you know I'm still alive.
A couple of weeks ago hubby and I took a quick trip to NB to go look for a house. We only had a week to find one, it's not a lot of time for something as important as buying a house, but I got to say it went really well. After 3 days there and visiting about 20 houses we had a pretty good idea of what was available, the price range, the best locations and on day 4 we had our house and most of the paperwork done. Phhhheeewww! lol It's a brand new house, all shiny and pretty and I can't wait to move in it!
Since we got back to Rocky Harbour I've been busy going through this house here to get rid of all the junk we don't want to bring with us and clean up a bit, got about 4 rooms left to do, but I took a break today.
Our two youngest, Kim

and Alain, are really excited about the move and can't wait, our oldest, Vincent, is a little bit more reluctant because he grew up in Newfoundland, his friends here are really important to him, but I'm hoping he'll come to enjoy Oromocto... I hope... And if not, he can come back here later when he is a little bit more prepared for it.
The movers are coming to pack on the 26 and 27, the closing date for the house the december 4th so we should be all settled in and back into our little routine for Christmas!
When we went to look for the house I managed to take some photos, I posted some that I took on the plane on the way back. I took those for my son Alain (he wanted photos of clouds

) but thought they might make good stock. I have some landscapes as well that I will try to post before we move, if not, it's not lost, I'll just post them later. So you can expect some more soon, I just can't make promises for the when...

...Hey! Maybe the next time I write in this journal it will be from our new home in Oromocto!
Til next time, take care guys! :hugs:
