This week-end we drove to the McAdam train station in... McAdam (duh), New-Brunswick to enjoy the most delicious butterscotch cream pie I've ever had in my entire life! I had a taste of it back in december and couldn't wait for another opportunity to get another piece of their famous pie. Pie is my most favorite desert and I'm telling you, if ever you happen to be near McAdam, NB on a Sunday afternoon (it's the only time the pie is served) you have to stop at the old train station and get a piece of their cream pie (I love the butterscotch one myself), it really is the best of the best and very much worth the detour!
Anyway! While we were there we took the tour of the station and of course we took many photos of all the old stuff in there. However, while I got my fill on pie, it's left me hungry for more old object to take photos of. I'll be honest with you.... I'm ashamed to say I had left my camera at home, I thought we'd just eat pie, never thought we'd visit the entire train station so hubby (God love him!) shared his camera with me (He's just like that pie, the best of the best!). But I now want to take more photos of old objects cause I couldn't take as many as I would have liked when we were there since we shared the camera. Sooooo.... I'm thinking to make a trip to King's Landing with my daughter because I know she'd love that and maybe my youngest son too, just to satisfy my urge of antique and worn out objects for a bit. The last time we visited they also had a book for sale there that I really want to get, some old catalog, that was a couple of years though, not sure they'll still have it, but crossing my fingers...
All this to say that the next batch of photos I post will probably be more antique or old objects, buildings etc...I figure it may be a welcomed change from the usual landscapes or other nature shots.
